How does the scoring work?
Football: 3 points for an exact score, 1 point for the correct result. Rugby: 8 points for an exact score, 3 points for correct result plus margin (within 3 points), 1 point for the correct result. US sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) and AFL: 1 point for picking the winner.
Is Call the Scores free to play?
Yes. Every league, every fixture, every private mini-league is free. There are no in-app purchases.
Can I play against my mates?
Yes. Create a private league in one tap, share the 6-character invite code, and everyone's picks reveal the moment each game locks. No cheating, no excuses.
When do predictions lock?
The moment each match kicks off. Once a game is live, your prediction is final. You can edit any time before kick-off.
How do I win?
Climb the leaderboard. There's a global table and a table for every private league you're in. Movement arrows show who's climbing and who's tanking week to week.
Do I need an account?
Yes, so we can save your picks and rank you against everyone else. Sign up with an email or Google - takes about 10 seconds.
Does the app change colour with my team?
Yes. Pick your team when you sign up and the whole app wears your colours - from the header to the podium.
Which competitions are supported?
Premier League, Championship, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 for football, plus Gallagher Premiership for rugby. Champions League, Euros, Six Nations, Rugby Championship, URC, Autumn Internationals, Rugby World Cup, NFL, AFL, NBA, MLS, MLB and NHL are on the way.
