How the NHL predictor works

The NHL is the busiest league on Call the Scores. Thirty-two teams play 82 games each, which means 1,312 regular-season games from October to April, then four rounds of Stanley Cup Playoffs before the Cup is lifted in June. On a busy night there can be a dozen games, and every single one is there to call.

There are no scorelines to fret over. Each game is one tap: home win or away win. Overtime and shootout winners count exactly the same as regulation wins, because every NHL game ends with a winner. A correct call is worth 1 point, and picks lock the moment the puck drops.

Every game shows what the crowd is calling beside it, so you can see at a glance which favourites the crowd trusts and where it is split. Back the crowd or go against it - the bold calls are where tables are won.
