How to play

Predict the exact scoreline of every fixture in a round. Save your picks any time before a fixture kicks off. Each fixture locks at its own kick off time, so a late game stays open after the early ones have started.

Points depend on the competition:

• Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, FA WSL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga, Eredivisie, MLS, Champions League and Europa League: 3 points for an exact score, 1 point for the correct result.
• Betfred Super League: 5 points for an exact score, 1 point for the correct result.

Gallagher Premiership, Top 14, NFL, AFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and Six Nations are result only, so they do not use scorelines.

Simply pick home, draw or away. One point for every correct call. Draw is only offered where a draw is possible.

Handy to know: saving a Call the Score prediction automatically fills in your Call the Result pick for that fixture. If you set a result pick directly, it sticks, and a later change to your scoreline will not overwrite it.

Survivor format, available on the football and rugby competitions. You start a run with a set number of lives, usually three. Pick one team per round to win. Get it right and you go through. Get it wrong and you lose a life, and when your lives run out you are eliminated. The last player with lives left wins the run.

You cannot use the same team twice in a run, until you have used every team in the competition, at which point the list resets.

You can join right up until the last fixture of the run's opening round kicks off. After that you wait for the next run, which is created automatically each month.

Picks lock per fixture, so you can still choose a team whose game has not started even if the round is already under way. Miss a round entirely and you lose a life.

Tournaments are one off competitions such as the Six Nations, the Euros and the World Cup. They sit alongside your club season and never mix into it.

You opt in from the Tournaments page and pick the nation you are backing when you join. After that you predict match by match, using that tournament's scoring rules, and every tournament keeps its own leaderboard.

Private leagues you are already in can carry across, so you can keep the same group of friends for the tournament.

Private leagues. Create one from the Leagues page and share the join code with friends. Once a fixture kicks off, everyone's predictions for it become visible to the other members, so there is nowhere to hide.

The Global League. Everyone is entered automatically, per competition. Nothing to join.
